Hello, my name is Chetna Parmar and I am founder of Blue Lotus.
In 2005 I decided to swap my profession as a secondary school science teacher for a world full of gorgeous cakes.
At Blue Lotus we have an irresistible range of freshly
baked-to-order dairy and egg free vegan cakes,
cupcakes, scones and breads. This also includes a wheat free selection, no added sugar range
as well as soya free and maize/corn free options**.
Our products are sourced from outstanding artisan bakers-highly skilled
and experienced in their field. They use only
the finest wholesome ingredients, organic, fresh and locally
produced wherever possible. All of our items are
free from hydrogenated fats and of course naturally cholesterol
free.
The recipes are kept simple and most ingredients are ones which
you would find in your own kitchen - no artificial
or genetically modified ingredients are used and above all no
lengthy incomprehensible ingredient listings that you
would find in some shop bought items. Packaging is either recyclable or biodegradable and kept to an
absolute minimum. We encourage you to
re-use the packaging our goods are sent in.
Our mouth watering range of baked goods are full of intense
flavours and wonderfully aromatic-all without
the use of any animal ingredients! So whether you are a vegan or
vegetarian, have intolerances/allergies or are
looking for a kinder, healthier alternative, we will have
something special for you, your family and friends to enjoy.

** Allergy Advice
All of our items are made in dairy and egg free vegan bakeries, and therefore do not contain dairy, eggs or any other animal derived ingredients. Options are available that follow nut free, soya free, wheat free, maize free, corn free and no added sugar recipes.
The bakeries do handle nuts, gluten, wheat, soya, maize, corn, celery, mustard and sesame. Although reasonable precautions are taken to minimise cross contamination with these allergens we can not guarantee elimination of all traces. Therefore these products may not be suitable if you have severe allergies or are prone to anaphylactic reactions.
